Starting with the strategy meeting in 2017, another expert group was set up: New business models. The Platform Industry 4.0 Austria offers five modules to help companies implement their digitization strategies and develop new business models comprehensively and with the competence of the entire platform network.
The five pillars cover all relevant topics and areas that support companies in the further development of their business models into the digital age:
In the Executive Lounge, an exchange with experts on specific topics relevant to business models takes place in small groups at management level. The aim is to provide information on current issues and raise awareness at management level.
The Industry 4.0 Maturity Model offers an independent evaluation of the current digitization status in the company and supports the implementation of a digitization strategy or works out the next necessary steps.
The Tool Box combines all competences of the platform members and beyond the platform network and gives an overview in which fields members could benefit or where members could get concrete support in the implementation of their own digitization strategy. This covers topics ranging from standards, IP, security and research infrastructure, such as pilot factories, to the necessary qualifications and competencies.
In addition, the expert group “New Business Models” works together with members and experts on relevant topics and further strengthens the network of the Platform . A strong focus is placed on the discussion of concrete, practice-proven use cases.
As the fifth module, the Business Model Lab enables companies to easily test and test new business models in a secure environment with members of the Industry 4.0 platform in real a production environment.
