Smart Logistics: New Technologies and Technological Concepts for Industrial Logistics
Manuel Woschank is a Senior Researcher, Senior Lecturer, and the Deputy Head of the Chair of Industrial Logistics at the Montanuniversitaet Leoben and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics at the University of Latvia.
This seminar provides comprehensive insights into Industry 4.0-related technologies, technological concepts, and their respective barriers and potentials in the field of industrial logistics. In this seminar, he further discusses preliminary findings regarding the exemplary evaluation of existing technologies and technological concepts in industrial logistics by using data from case studies, expert interviews, literature reviews, simulations, and surveys. Moreover, the seminar focuses on the systematic realignment of competencies in a digitalized working environment based on insights from industrial engineering education.
