Twin City Future Innovation Manufacturing Hub
Cross-Border Innovation Support for the Future of the Manufacturing Industry
Twin City Future Innovation Manufacturing Hub project (2C FIMH) develops recommendations for a transnational innovation strategy in the manufacturing sector and lays the foundation for an innovation hub in Vienna and Bratislava. Over the next two years, pilot activities in incubation, education, and cooperation will be carried out to promote cross-border collaboration between universities, companies, and start-ups.
Main Objectives
• Development of a handbook with recommendations for a cross-border innovation strategy.
• Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a formal political commitment.
• Establishment and operation of the Twin City Hub in Vienna and Bratislava to ensure sustainability.
• Organization of joint strategic missions for benchmarking with leading innovation regions.
• Promotion of cross-border knowledge exchange through expert groups, workshops, and exploratory visits.
