Social Media Campaign Mission: Futurejob
With the Mission: Future Job campaign, the Industry 4.0 platform aims to give young people a hands-on look at the wide range of technical careers and training opportunities available. The campaign helps bridge the gap between youth and potential employers or training institutions, while highlighting the demand, relevance, and attractiveness of careers in technology and the manufacturing sector.
To support this goal, a campaign on TikTok and YouTube was developed in 2022 in collaboration with students from St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences. The campaign playfully introduces technical professions and apprenticeships, helping young people explore career paths and find the right job for their future.
Where can I put my skills to good use? Where can I get the best training? Which jobs offer long-term security? These are the questions Generation Z is asking when thinking about their professional future.
To find answers, our protagonists embark on an exciting journey, visiting various companies and educational institutions. Their mission? To discover the perfect job of the future – that’s the Mission: Future Job!
Along the way, they meet young professionals working in technical fields and talk to them about their career journeys, day-to-day experiences, and what drives them. The result: authentic insights, real-life stories, and practical tips – all aimed at inspiring and guiding the next generation toward a future in technology and innovation.
The following members of the Platform Industry 4.0 took part in the campaign: A1 Telekom, AVL List, FH Technikum Wien, MAGNA Steyr, Siemens Österreich AG, VRVis, FH Joanneum, TU Graz, Infineon Technologies, Voestalpine, Fronius, Tiroler Rohre and Workheld.
